About Assura
We are the UK's leading specialist healthcare property investor and developer. We improve health outcomes through our portfolio of more than 600 healthcare buildings, including GP practices, ambulance hubs, cancer centres and hospitals, from which over six million patients are served.
We are the first FTSE250 B Corp and our goal is for all the buildings we own to be net zero carbon by 2040.
Our approach to business is to look at The Bigger Picture. We are committed to delivering a Healthy Environment, Healthy Communities and a Healthy Business, because we believe we need all three to be successful.
About our office renovation
We are transforming 3 Barrington Road into a best in class workplace, our aim is that our office will be the first of its kind in the North West and the first to achieve the NABERS UK Designing for Performance 4.5* rating for building efficiency.
Using our Net Zero Carbon Design Guide, we’ll be upgrading the building to make it net zero carbon including:
-
replacing the windows
-
improving the thermal insulation of the building fabric
-
adding enhanced building controls
-
putting solar panels on the roof.
As part of our commitment to our local community we will be creating a pocket park at the front of building that is accessible to everyone bringing more green space to Altrincham.

Latest news

We always invest in the communities around our buildings, and our HQ at 3 Barrington Road is no different. We are supporting ‘Altrincham in the Community’, the community sports arm of Altrincham Football Club, to deliver community exercise programmes aimed at preventing falls in older people across Trafford. We are using local social enterprises for our onsite catering for events and our team has completed just under 100 hours of volunteering in Trafford so far this year.
